Brief Description

This course is aimed at anyone who would like to know more about Renaissance art between approx. 1425 - 1550. It will be a basic introduction this period starting with the influences upon it. The course will focus essentially upon painting and sculpture. We will look at how the style spread north from Italy to northern Europe.
